This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7:30 amβ4:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (614) 688-3763. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, dentalcenter.osu.edu.

On top of the rude people at the desk upstairs, mediocre to bad dental workβ¦ OHIO STATE will only pay for $6 of your parking. Gotta cut corners to pay the football coach 12 mil per year right? As for the work, itβs absolutely horrible and the actual dentists are never around or seeing whatβs happening. Itβs a clown show

One of the worst decisions Iβve ever made was going to the OSU student dental clinic. There wasnβt 1 part that was professional. HORRIBLE front desk staff (not the registrar but where you actually get work done).. the actual dentists rarely check anything (was told theyβd always be coming in and looking at students work) oh and that work? Is absolutely awful. My mouth looks much worse than before I ever went.

The work has been fantastic, and the staff is wonderfully helpful. Linda, at the check in desk, was especially helpful. She calmed me down and helped me get to my next, newly scheduled and urgent, appointment.

I've had 2 visits & my 3 today. So far I've had a good experience. My dental student Jillian has been great. She's been kind, explained everything being done in detail, seems to know what she's doing & has made sure I'm ok & understand everything. There seems to be more bad than good reviews so I was really apprehensive to go here but so far so good. Granted I've only had X-rays & today will find out when they are going to do the extraction for my dentures. I'm really nervous about it cause I had a very traumatic experience somewhere else but I pray it's gonna be ok. Little nervous about the really really low rating & bad reviews but I'm optimistic it's gonna go fine. Wish me π€ & I'll let it be known how it goes.

I had a great experience at this dental clinic. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The dentist was professional, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was at ease throughout the procedure. The clinic was clean, well-organized, and equipped with modern technology. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality dental care.
